The website was started as a way to share my experiences, and hopefully learn about yours, as we try to escape the rat race and mundane (or muggle) experiences that seem to occur to us as we age. The blog will be stream of consciousness, no topic is off limits. We’re going to explore how to make money, freelance writing, travel, food and drink, and dude type topics. And beaches. Not girlie beaches, but the beach lifestyle. The surf’s up, sand in the toes, Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffett playing beach lifestyle.
I’m a middle aged, married man with an empty nest and ready to start living. Work is no longer something I am going to obsess about. I am going to live, and work enough to allow me to do that, but I’m going to enjoy what I do or I shan’t do it.
