Another Kindle Book Published

I have just placed my 3rd book, and 4th entry, onto the Amazon Marketplace for downloading onto the Kindle.

This one is titled "No' Chance" and is the first in a series, the second one is about a third of the way toward being finished.

I actually wrote the majority of the book several years ago, then sat it aside for a while to develop in my mind (some would say fester) before coming back to it and making some edits, then wrapping it up.

I hired someone to write my synopsis because I find that by the time I finish a book I am just not very good at describing it succinctly.

NO CHANCE

Noah Chance is about to graduate from high school and has beaten all the odds stacked against him from birth in order to reach this important milestone. Afflicted with Downs Syndrome, Noah’s high-functioning capabilities are not what make him so special. Rather, it is his endless capacity to love that sets Noah apart from most …that, and his ability to see and talk with the dead.

Spencer and Jen are Noah’s closest friends, constant companions, and his fiercest protectors; a triumvirate that works so well until the afternoon when Noah introduces them to “John.”

John is a 12-year-old spirit whose flesh was recently taken from him in the most sinister way imaginable. A child-molester named Silas killed him. Led by Noah, the trio head out to track down the murder scene, but soon discover they are on a collision course with something far greater than the murder of a child: an epic battle against the underworld and all of its hellacious inhabitants.

Interestingly, I have managed to publish 3 books and a short story to Amazon for the Kindle but the attempt to publish on the Nook for Barnes and Noble is still "pending". If B & N wants fresh content and to compete with Amazon for the independent publishers and writers they are going to have to get better and faster at this.

Finally, I published a short story (Terror in the Wire) in the Horror genre  that I love so much. I am pricing it at $ .99 and will be donating all author proceeds from it to some organization(s) that help others. Right now the contenders are Kiva.org, Surfrider, and Water.org, although there may be some others added on. I tried to put it at a $0 price point, but apparently that is harder to do than you would think and Amazon isn't much help unless you are a big name author. So, instead I chose to take this chance and try to do a little good.

I am putting links below, and if you don't have a Kindle yet I'd appreciate you considering clicking on the Amazon link. The one I put in here is the cheaper version with ads on it, but from what I've heard it is not intrusive at all.
