Vegas Baby!
That's right, the Dude is heading to Vegas again!
After a hiatus of a couple of years, the City of Sin beckons once again and me and the Bud are headed out to paint the town…well, probably paint it a soothing shade of beige since we're getting kind of old.
The days of drunken debauchery are behind me now, probably, and so I'll just be gambling and visiting restaurants and bars. If you have any particular requests or want info on any places out in Vegas put a comment here or drop me an email and I'll try to add them to the (non-existent) itinerary.
Those of you who know me know that I'm a Downtown Fremont Street kind of guy but this time we're doing it ritzy even though the ball and chains aren't with us. We're staying at the Venetian so wandering to the craps table in pajama bottoms, a torn up t-shirt and flip flops will probably be frowned on but I still intend to gamble the same way i always have and hopefully there are a few poker players headed that way who aren't too attached to their money. Hopefully I'll catch a few of those guys that wear the dark sunglasses and are bedecked in head to toe online gaming site apparel because I could use some easy money and they pay like an ATM.
I'm going to wear earplugs so the siren call of the dice don't affect me but I suspect that I'll be forced to "roll the bones" a few times anyway.
More on the trip later, but let me know what you want us to do (and keep it clean!). No strip clubs or chicken ranches, but casinos and restaurants are fair game.
